About Northcote

Past the famous Ruckers Hill, with its stellar views of Melbourne’s CBD, lies the once unassuming suburb of Northcote, 6km north east of the city. Northcote originally grew around the 1850’s mansions built during the gold rush boom, with a large working class eventually populating the area in the early 20th century due to the development of various factories and industry.
